I’m Jasmine M McKinney, Founder and CEO of The Step Up Program, a nonprofit serving homeless women, children, and families in Cincinnati, Ohio. As the CEO, I lead The Step Up Program and ensure vulnerable families receive the essential resources they need. My focus is on creating impactful partnerships that foster long-term stability for those we serve. Having once experienced homelessness myself, I turned my pain into purpose and built an organization that has helped over 5,000 families find hope and stability. As CEO, I oversee programs that provide meals, essentials, rental assistance, and long-term solutions for self-sufficiency. Alongside my nonprofit work, I’m also a singer, songwriter, and author of six children’s books, using my creativity to inspire and uplift others. At the heart of everything I do is a simple mission—to serve, empower, and remind others that no struggle lasts forever.
